Step into the shadows for an evening of spirited stories, cocktail ritual, and a little old-world intrigue at Philadelphia Distilling.

This special Halloween edition of our cocktail class explores three characters from drinking history: The Absinthe Ladies, inspired by the cafés and cabarets of turn-of-the-century Paris; The Fortune Teller, drawing from Victorian apothecaries, botanicals, and bitters; and The Bluecoat Pirate, a nod to Philadelphia’s taverns, port-city history, and rebellious spirit.

Enjoy a welcome cocktail and light snacks before settling in for three live cocktail demonstrations featuring Bluecoat American Dry Gin, Bluecoat Barrel-Finished, and Vieux Carré Absinthe. Along the way, we’ll explore the absinthe ritual, aromatic botanicals, and the strange stories behind some of cocktail culture’s most enduring myths.

Costumes are welcome, but certainly not required.
